The Cable Fire Department is an all volunteer department that provides 24 hours a day 7 days a week fire and rescue services to the Town of Cable. The fire departments primary jurisdiction is the 72 square miles that make up the Town of Cable. Cable Fire Department also provides mutual aid assistance to its neighboring fire departments.
Meeting Times
The department has 3 scheduled meetings a month for training and business. Scheduled meeting times are 7 pm the 1st, 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.

History of Cable Fire Department
Cable Fire Department was founded in 1955. The first recorded fire call that the department responded to was on 7/28/1955 at 10:30 am to a sawdust pile on fire at the Northern Fence Company.
