Road Bans In Effect March 5: Town of Cable Road Bans The Town of Cable will be following Bayfield Conty Highway Department for posting of the countyroad bans. Bayfield County has implemented the seasonal weight restrictions, Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 12P.M., at which time the Town of Cable road bans will go into effect.Vehicles weighing more than 6 ton GROSS will be prohibited from traveling on Town of CableRoads. The Cable Recreation Park, located west ½ mile west of downtown Cable includes ball fields, a basketball court, skate park, tennis and pickleball courts, a bicycle skills course and a concrete pump track. Other amenities include a picnic shelter, playground and a walk-in, tent-only campground.
